Yes it's in my head but there is a reason for this, are you a DIY or an installer? If the first I can't help, if the second, contact an experienced installer such as myself and get them to install it for you. If it's a 4 door it's one of the most complicated nasty cars to do. NB 02 was a change year and if you have switches above the radio, then it's a nasty. If the switches are in the centre console it's not so bad. To answer your question, place a 1kR in the blue/black lead and join with GREEN/ black to a blue/white in drivers door loom, take purple and PURPLE / black to ground, don't use WHITE/ black and BROWN / black, then you've got the nightmares of the separate door bonnet and hatch contacts, diode blocking back to the body control and the second nightmare of dropping the steering column cowling and getting to the ignition leads.
i am a fitter by trade and have been for 12 years been waiting for a fitting sheet all day from technical but nothing yet
doing the car on monday i have already got the 1k resistor and the diodes for the alarm but no fitting sheet for the locations
not done an 02 polo before hence the reason i am looking for a fitting sheet
if you do have one for it can you mail it to me at
