anyone know how much current a siren draws?  it's dei 514t i think.. their standard revenger 6-tone soft-chirp siren.  i'm adding a play switch and using a micro momentary push-button switch.  the contacts are only rated at 0.5 amps (yes it's very small).  i'm guesing i'll prolly hafta use a relay.  just need to know about how much current the siren draws.  thanks!

oh yea, what about a car horn?  my car's a 95 mitsu. eclipse.  anyone know about how much current the horn draws?  the buttons in my steering wheel are screwed up so i might just add an extra play switch type thing for the horn as well.   i don't like not being able to blast stupid drivers..  hehe thanks!

Most standard siren has a current draw of 1.5 amps.

Most standard factory horn has a 20 amps fuse on the fusebox connected to a horn relay.

good luck
