I have a viper 690xv alarm on a 92 honda accord. When the alarm is armed and I open the door my remote shows "door" just as it should. Then when I hit unlock it shows "door," letting my know my door was opened. I then arm my car again, I DONT open the door and hit unlock and it still shows "door" even though the door has not been opened since the previous time. What causes this? Thanks

did you cycle the ignition to clear the "event memory"?

No I dont think I did. I only have my door trigger, door unlock/lock hooked up. Which is the way I want it. So if I hook-up the ignition wire to the cars ignition it clears the memory? Thanks

If you don't hok the yellow? ign input to ign, a) It won't recycle as above and B) You're alarm will work even with ign ON. Very embarrasing for you if you made an immobiliser cut.
