hey guys, here is a situation that I run into every so often with gm vehicles. I will be putting in a r/s into a 2001 monte carlo this weekend and I beleive this will come up with this vehicle. I will be using the int-sl module, as is does the passlock, locks and just about everything else with the exception of the turning off the RAP system and the factory alarm. so here is what has happened in the past. I have hooked up the rearm wire to the door pin wire in hopes to turn off the radio upon shut down, and also to try to arm the factory alarm as it requires a lock pulse and a door pin pulse to arm the factory alarm. If I remember correctly when this sequence occurs the vehicle locks then immediately unlocks for some reason leaving the car unlocked.

I am just trying to keep the integrity of the factory alarm in tact and also have the rap system also shut down. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this or has any suggestions, or am i just overlooking something as far as wiring or an easy fix.

Thank-you in advance

use a DEI 528t pulse timer activated on R/S shutdown to relock the doors. the timing of the output is completely adjustable.
