I just bought a 5900 and need some install help. I want to install it myself and need an install guide and wire diagram. THANKS

i highly recommend to save yourself the headaches and take it to a professional, if you still want to attempt the install, I'm willing to help you out, I am by no means trying to discourage you. Just be prepared for a lot of work and the dangers of damaging something. A 5900 should only be installed in a manual transmission vehicle with the appropriate module that will ensure that it is not in gear to enable remote start. I've seen more manual transmission vehicles plow into something on accident than there should be. Luckly none of those cars ever hit anyone or caused any harm.

I was going to call around sat or monday to see how much to get it installed, but if it is to much I might need your help. About the module, where do I get one. $$$

I have been trying to find a wiring diagram for the DEI 689M. Anyone have one??
