Does any one know if there is a factory arm and disarm for a 2003 Ford Expedition or maybe factory defeat. Thanks in advance.

So if i wire it to lock and unlock will the headlights go on and off or should i have to wire the headlights. I know with the factory alarm the lights turn off by themselves.

keep the factory setting. when the car is turned off the lights stay on and then turn off when you lock the doors. just trying to keep factory settings. I havent done the car yet and want to know what to expect. ------------- Confidence is the key to any project!!

That's sort of a hard thing to replicate, and really not that important IMO. The lights won't stay on for very long after the doors are locked.
If you're so inclined, and the vehicle has the factory keypad on the door, you could wire your (-) lock output through a diode each to the 7/8 and 9/10 buttons on the pad. That may kill the lights immediately. Test lock with those buttons to make sure before you go further.
