I am having an issue with a python model 502. Is it possible to unlock and lock the doors with the python remote while the vehicle is running? For some reason as soon as you start the vehicle with the key the remotes no longer function. Ive looked in the features section but none of them say anything about this feature.

This is probably a car problem. What make model year car? What wires did you connect to? Did you use a data module?

It does work with ignition on.

Do the parking lights flash and/or doors try to lock/unlock with only the ignition on without engine running? It might be RF interference from engine or accessorieslike heater blower etc.

If the lights flash but they don't lock/unlock then check your wiring, voltage and current.

Of courseyou can't. Pushing the remote attempts to turn the alarm on and off which you can't do with the ignition on!
