my friend had the carbine start2-plus alarm installed on 08 honda civic. remote start works but it keeps turning off. car sometimes turns on for 10 seconds and sometimes five minutes. she took it back to shop and they told her thats the way it is. they don't know what to do do. i noticed that there is no tach wire tapped into fuel injector or coil. i know this cause i read it on the vehicle wiring. problem is, i don't know which wire is tach wire from alarm. she doesn't have the manual. can anyone help?

First off, for a shop to tell anyone "thats just the way it is" ..... time to find another shop to do business with.

On the back of the brain there should be some info on the wire your looking for. Ask the idiots at the shop for an install guide.

Thats the least THEY could do!

thanks. the shop has been reported to the better business bureu and they are rated a D. i just hope that i'm on the right track and be able to fix the problem.
