Hi I just installed a Viper 571xv in my 99 Audi A4 and I cant get the programming menu to work quite right. For things with more than two options, the security light wont flash out mutiple codes. The only thing this works for is crank duration, but when i try and do the same thing for Auxillary behavior the light either just stays on or off (which it normally does for two options) and there is supposed to be four options and i cant get it to use the option i want it to nor will the light flash the right option. Any ideas?

i assume you are referring to feature 1-9 in the menu?  which button are you pressing on the remote to advance through the options menu?

Thanks for the response.  I use the valet button to advance through the menu and the lock and unlock buttons to select the options just like the install manual says.

Sorry i havent replied for so long i hope you might be able to still help me. Ive beent trying to mess with it and i still cant get it to work. Yep i use lock and unlock to toggle depending on what it says in the owners manual. Lock is for the 1st menu option, and then unlock for the second options. Then the LED is supposed to flash what option you are choosing when you press unlock more than once, however it doesnt do that for the aux stuff it only stays on or stays off it doesnt flash any code.
