i just started to install the remote start and door lock from the aga1201 kit on my 2002 hyundai accent, looking and wiring diagrams are showing

12 VOLT CONSTANT       RED (+)       IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
STARTER       WHITE (+)       IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
STARTER 2       N/A
IGNITION 1       GREEN (+)       IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
IGNITION 2       N/A
IGNITION 3       N/A
ACCESSORY /HEATER BLOWER 1       YELLOW (+)       IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
ACCESSORY /HEATER BLOWER 2       BLUE (+)       IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

so i have, 1 ignition and 2 accessory, with the aga1201 start module, has ign 1 and 2 and 1 acc, is this going to be and issue with my car, do i need ign 2?... and another wire from the start module is (-)200ma bypass output when remote start, dose that have to be connected somewhere? diagram here and as for my door locks tested and install locks with 9v battery works fine, from what i have with the kit will i need another relay or two if i do which should i get. and what is the one the kit came with used for (alarm?). thank for any help you can provide me!

[QUOTE=the12voltuser]so i have, 1 ignition and 2 accessory, with the aga1201 start module, has ign 1 and 2 and 1 acc, is this going to be and issue with my car, do i need ign 2?... QUOTE]

connect ign1 from 1201 module to green ignition wire on car.

connect ign2 from module to blue acc2 on car

connect acc from module to yellow acc1 on car

if i'm not mistaken, the blue wire is not necessary for remote start. therfore, if your system works well with the above configuration, keep it. if you are having trouble getting it started with this configuation disconnect the blue acc2 from the ign2 from module.

the only difference in ign and acc wires as pertaining to alarm/remote start hook-up is that ign wire has power in the ignition, run, and start key positions. the acc wire has power in the acc, ignition, and run positions (no power in start position).

you should always use a relay to create another acc or ign circuit. in 90% of installs, though, you can use an ign wire from the module to power an acc wire on the vehicle(not necessarily vice-versa) to simplify the installation.

i have seen many vehicles that do not respond to this well and you can have check engine light and bypass problems doing this so be cautious. you shouldn't have any problems on your vehicle though. i never did.

as long as you do not have a chip in your key (i don't think this was available on your car), you won't need the bypass wire.

I was wondering if anyone can help with recodeing my remotes.  One just won't work and the other the lock doesn't work only the remote start button to lock.  I leaned on it and set alarm and now it won't work right.  It is like it is in some kind of protection mode.  The alarm won't arm. The second remote works, but won't talk to the alarm.  I lost the manual and can't find a copy online. The company went out of business and can't help.
