I have a BMW Compact E36 316i 1994,wich has a Gemini 7049 alarm .The alarm stopped working so i want to install a keyless entry module.Tell me u know the wiring color on this alarm Gemini 7049 or a diagram,i want to buy this keyless entry and to put it in the gemini's alarm place ,but i do not know the wiring color codes of GEmini. The keyless i'm tryng to install is this

can i use the wires from the gemini instalation,or i should connect this to other wires? Is 1994 316 compact prewired for alarm? i could connect this to 12pin connector under dashboard,if it has this connector for alarms?

Since you have an alarm, is it aftermarket? Aftermarket alarms will have most all of the wiring done for you. When I did my replacement, I was able to confirm the wire colors for function based on the old brains sticker. It was easier than a fresh install.

Diagrams are most often on the brains, so once you have it and the new ones instructions in your hands, you will have most all of the information you need.
