To start things off I just purchased a 2008 Civic SI, not being new to starters or alarms, this seemed like any other civic. easy.

Thats when my problems started which i CANNOT figure out how to resolve, any help you guys might be able to offer would be fantastic.

The Vehicle: 2008 Civic SI, 6spd MT.

The Product: Compustar Pro Alarm/starter, Brain model: CM5000. (equivelant to the Nustart NUAS8000), Bypass: Idata ADS-AL.

So my issues are as follows:

1. The vehicle remote starts intermittently, as in, when i press start, it will start and the confirm back to the remote that it is running, sometimes it will stay running, other times as soon as it confirms on the remote, the vehicle will just shut off, and then wont restart unless done manualy by the key. (it gives the error code, 3 park light flashed, then 2 flashes) ....... I am using a coil pack for tach, an injector would not work, and I cannot find the stator wire on the alternator to use "alternator sensing"

2. This is more of an annoying issue, the brain does not seem to disarm the shock sensor when driving, as your driving and hit a bump, the LED will flash as the shock sensor is triggered while driving, you can even tap on the dash where the shock sensor is mounted and watch the LED come on and off as you are triggering the sensor.

I have tried 2 differant bypasses, and one other brain module, the old brain module didnt do the sensor LED flash, but this one does.

Both modules are the new blade compatible units if that makes a differant.

I have installed my fair share of starters and never have i had one issue arise after another after another.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Matt

With all new Civic's and the Compustar, I use the stator wire at the alternator and program for alternator sense. As far as the second issue, try to disable the shock sensor from the remote and test drive it again to see if the problem perisists. If so, go online and flash the CPU to version 4.5
