Here's the scenario..On some cars as soon as you turn off the key the dome lights come on. We install remote start/alarm combo units. If the alarm is in and you remote start the car it works fine..If the remote start times out or they shut it down from the remote, of course the dome lights come on and the alarm trips. Anybody have a fix for this? Thanks

I haven't really tried much just checking if anybody has run into this..Obviously they could unlock their doors with the remote, but then the alarm wouldn't be armed. Or tap into the door triggers and not the dome light wire, but from what I've been told it still backfeeds.

some alarms ignore the door trigger for a minute after they are armed to prevent this problem
