Im installing a UltraStart 1250 in a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. I hooked up all the neccessary wires and the remote start kicked over for about 3 seconds without the key. I didnt hook up the oem factory disarm wire. I just bough a 555lw bypass module. My question is does the disarm wire still have to be hooked up with the 555lw installed?

yah the yellow r code cut ignition side toward the module and the bcm side, those are BLACK / YELLOW and yellow. i have the ground reference on the ORANGE / black wire. also the 12 volts and ignition wire are correct. could it be a tach problem

Nah, just not programmed correctly. Voltage sense with a 4 second crank isn't going to help; the tach wire is behind the cluster, pin 4. Easy grab. Just run your tach wire there, program it and should fix you up.
