2002 chevy tahoe,DesignTech 20092,GM 555L bypass.starter engages too long .Runs for about 30 sec,shuts off then restarts.Serious problems with the door locks tahoe had been broken into and deck stolen bunch of open wires.on first contact of lock wire to power will activate but not again evan with switch unless started and in gear then only drivers side.Help this install is very important to me.thanks

For the starter - it sounds like you haven't programmed the tach correctly.
For the locks - elaborate on how exactly they're operating in a screwed up fashion. I'm really not sure what you're saying there.

they wont lock or unlock with the door switches much less the remote.however they will work for the first millisecond of a new powersource connection.i.e........when you reconnect the battery or replace the fuse in the lock circuit.oh ya the also work when you put the car in gear

There's clearly a short in the doorlock switch circuit. I would suspect it might have something to do with the radio wires being exposed(it's very possible that the same constant power wire goes to both the lock switches and the radio).

Are you saying that shifting into/out of Park unlocks and locks all doors? Or just the driver's door?
If all doors, the problem is almost certainly power to the switches and keyless entry module (I believe it might be separate from the body control module on that truck).
If only the driver's door it could be several things including power to the doorlock relays. The driver's door unlock is controlled separately by the BCM.
