installed alarm and remote start using pyle pwd 501 and bypass kit xko1 module got everything working except the locks it will lock and unlock sometime but not always its not the base model and i tried to go direct to switch in the door and still nothing

The locks on that truck should be controlled thru the data connector (OBD2) Get yourself an additional/different bypass unit.

I am spoiled with the Astro product.. I know that there is a unit that "does it all"

The XK01 should do doorlocks through the data connector.
If it is not working:
1) Make sure your alarm to bypass wiring is correct.
2) Make sure the bypass purple wire is hooked to Pin 2 of the ODB2 connector.
3) Try to reset the bypass and reprogram
4) Try re flashing the XK01 bypass with the latest firmware and then reprogram the bypass
5) Replace the bypass
