with either one of the Viper 160 or 5301 remote start work with a manual transmission? I have a 2001 ford ranger. all done up but no power accesories. so kinda pointless to put a kit with keyless entry etc. thanks.

The 5301 has built in features for a manual transmission. The 160 requires additional parts.
