Hello guys,

I had the viper 791 installed for a few years and I realized today that my pager does not update.  All the functions work, (lock,unlock,autostart,aux,vibrate/tone,illum), but the screen on the pager always show the car is unlocked.  It seems like the brain is not sending the signal to my pager?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely your two-way got turned off.  Hold the "p" button on the back for 5 seconds, then press *.

does anyone know how to program a new remote or re-reprogram the same remote?

to program the remote you need to locate your valet switch. turn ignition on push valet once then hold on second, after it chirps push lock button, you should have been able to program remote. but that doesnt seem to be the problem. it seems you turned off the two way paging. thats a feature so your battery doesnt waste too much. check your two way antanna. last time i had that happen on a install it was barely catching, so there was no confirmation coming back. let me know if not ill get you a manual for the alarm.
