Hi guys,

I had a car battery problem this morning and now the battery is working fine after a recharge.  Now my 791vx remote is acting up.  The screen does not update but all features still work such as lock, unlock, remote start...

Does anyone know how to fix this problem, should I disconnect the battery and let the alarm brain to reset?  What else can I do?

Thanks.

try unplugging the antenna from the brain module. While it's unplugged, pull the battery out of the remote key fob. put it all back together and see if that clear's it up.

Hi geofbettis003,

Thanks for the tip.  But I don't know how to access the brain nor do I know which one is the antenna wire since I did not install it.

Anyway, do you think unplugging the car battery will work?

Well, I just unplugged the antenna and remove the remote battery for a minute, plug the antenna back in and put in the battery.  Now work like a charm.

Thanks.
