i think he has this confused

the 1601 if for doorlocks with a newer gm truck platform

that requires 5 wire for each door

do yourself a favor post what your vehicle is and what your trying to do and then maybe somebody can suggest an appropriate module

its for a 2006 Chevy 2500 HD Diesel. and it is for door locks.thanks

Much easier to get a module for locks in that truck. For a few dollars you will save a ton of time.....
