ok a few days ago I got everything laid out to install my alarm in my truck got the window module in and it started to rain so I hung it up with just getting the window module to work.  Passenger Switch operated as normal as I like it While the Driver switch did both what i wanted, one touch rolling down  and up for both windows off driver switch, got it, great.  Now that I put the Alarm in, it has gone retarded on arm.  The one touch still works normal but when i arm it it rolls one down and one up, basically if the driver side is up when i arm it, it goes down, if the passenger is down it rolls up fine.  What have I screwed up to cause it to get Stupified??

Alarm  -  Viper 5900sst

Vehicle  -  96 Ford F-150 2dr

530t Window Module and thats all, no relays hooked up so if I need relays how would i go about using them and fixing these windows on ARM, i was trying to avoid relays all together cause I have never messed with them and was unsure if i wanted to try and cause a fire doing it lol.

Disconnect the ground when armed (orange) or just remove the module from the door would get the windows from moving when you arm it. Sounds like you gots either some dipswitches screwed or some polarity issues. Trace everything in the wires to be sure, absolutely sure you got inputs and outputs going the right places. I know it happens more than I'd care to admit to my shop on the weekends, ya know?

Reverse the brown and white wires attached to the switch side of the car.

Reverse the green and blue wires attached to the motor side of the car.

That should fix it.

ok I swapped the 4 wires for the left switch and that fixed the windows on Arming the alarm But however when I left my friends after i had fixed it, while driving i tried the windows and they both rolled down perfectly but the passenger was the only one that still worked going up, I couldnt get the driver side up except when i armed it, what do I need to fix to get the Driver window to be able to work when im Driving/acc/run?  Anyone ever had this happen? Ive knocked it to just a minimal problem any help would be appreciated, to the above posters thanks a lot for your help was beneficial.  Its at least better then what it was but Just a hair close to being perfect.

Your new connection from the brown wire of the 530t (to the switch side of the car) is loose or not making contact at all.

Double check it.

Funny you mention that cause I JUST NOW lol did that and discovered that the wire had come loose.  You familiar with wiring relays?

I am just a weekend warrior compared to some of these guys that are experts and proffessionals.

I have done several 530t's on windows and sunroofs. Once you understand how they function, they are really easy to troubleshoot. Your description of the problem was very thorough and accurate, making the problem easy to identify. Good job on that.

Relay's are easy too. Anyone here will be able to help you if you have additional questions.

Also, I don't know what kind of connections you are using, but skip the scotch-loks. Solder for a trouble free installation, ESPECIALLY for the blue and green motor side wires of the 530t.

Good luck!

Yeah I will definately fix it i see how weak they are,  Solder time.  Any tips for soldering upside down under the dash?  I couldnt even which is why I did it the other way.
