Newbie here bought a ultrastart 1280xrpro from ebay. Its a remote starter keyless entry and alarm.Got product and dived right into install.got tech sheet for 1992 toyota camry.Followed installation guide supplied with remote starter hooked up six pin connector pretty easy then ran into problems confused on wiring diagrams from installation manual it gives wire color and if its positive or negative but doesnt correlate with the tech sheet .Can i just splice these wires into a positive or negative wire on the vehicle.Basically all i want is the keyless entry and start to work.It seems like there is alot of wires on remote start harness. Will I use all these wires Hope this makes since any help would be appreciated
You need to be a tad bit more specific Bob (John Travolta in Phenomenon)
What "wires" are you having trouble with? Is your Toyota a manual trans?
-------------
its an automatic transmission.Car does not have factory alarm.I have all the heavy gauge power wires wired in.its the 13 pin connector thats confusing me i will give what the manual states
1 Yellow output for factory alarm re-arm Do i need?
2 Brown output for factory alarm dis-arm Do I need?
3 Gray negative starter output Do I need?
4 RD\WHT output for trunk release activation Do I need?
5 ORG\WHT negative accessory output\auxiliary output 2 Do I need?
6 WHT\ORG auxiliary output 1\programmable output Do I need?
7 Pink Brake switch input(+)when brake is pressed Need?
8 Blk\Wht park brake for manual transmissions Dont think I need
9 Grn\Wht Hood pin switch input Dont think I need
10 Blue\Wht Tach wire inputNeed?
11 Blue wait to start (diesel vehicles) Dont think I need
12 Purple positive door pin input(alarms and manual only) Dont Need
13 Green negative door pin input (alarm and manual only) Dont Need
How many of this thirtten do I need?

The most important thing to remember - the CAR has to remotely start, not the module. The remote starter is just designed to help you duplicate a start-by-the-key.
For your wires, assuming you've powered every wire from the ignition switch:
1 Yellow output for factory alarm re-arm NO
2 Brown output for factory alarm dis-arm NO
3 Gray negative starter output NO
4 RD\WHT output for trunk release activation Not unless you've got an electric trunk release to control.
5 ORG\WHT negative accessory output\auxiliary output 2 NO
6 WHT\ORG auxiliary output 1\programmable output NO
7 Pink Brake switch input(+)when brake is pressed YES
8 Blk\Wht park brake for manual transmissions NO
9 Grn\Wht Hood pin switch input YES - be safe
10 Blue\Wht Tach wire inputIt'd be better - tach sensing doesn't slightly over/undercrank the starter like voltage sensing does. It's easy enough to get a tach on that car in any case.
11 Blue wait to start (diesel vehicles) NO
12 Purple positive door pin input(alarms and manual only) NO
13 Green negative door pin input (alarm and manual only) NO

Thanks for the help I appreciate it.I just have a few more questions.ive got a 4 pin connector that is confusing me a little heres the wires again.
pin-1 Brown (+)Siren/(-)Horn(Programmable)-
Pin-2 Orange Starter Kill/Anti Grind-
Pin-3 White Jumper selectable park light output(+or-)
Pin-4 Black System Ground Already grounded to chassis
I also have another question on the door locks Am I going to need relays. And also in the lock unlock harness it states the wires should be a lite green wire which I have located and a dark green wire which I havent there is about four darker colored green wire in this harness which one is it?
