Can't make out exactly what you are saying but if we are installing an alarm and r/s, we often either remove the chip from the key and secure to the antenna or remove the antenna ring and bury a key in it because the alarm has one or more immobiliser cuts.

i think you answered my question i want to remove the chip from the key and lay it by the antenna, glue it ,tape it, whatever works. i didn't no this was done on reg. basis because once you remove the chip and place it on the antenna you could use a normal none chipped key to start the truck right? so really you wouldn't have an anti theft in the truck cause there is no special key required. just so i'm clear i'm not talking about a bypass i just want to put in a remote start and glue the chip from in the key to the antenna. thanks for your help howie
