I have spent the entire day installing a Hornet 554T on a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. I installed the 555g, trunk pop, horn honk & sirens. The alarm works & the remote start works. The problem I am having is when I remote start the car when the alarm is armed and I shut off the remote start by keypad or the runtime ends it triggers the alarm. The alarm gives the warn away chirps and then goes full blast. Has anyone had this problem with any DEI alarm/remote start system?? I have installed other DEI alarm/remote start systems and never had this happen.
