installing an alarm with remote start, the alarm/remote start module shows the diagram to connect the to 2 ignition wires (IGN1, IGN2)

however, my vehicle only has 1 ignition wire. It's a 94 MPV.

I just connected both of them to the 1 wire, is this ok?

Connect IGN1 and tape off IGN2....

And before you ask the next question about heater wires, you only use what's needed.
