Hey all you Astrostart Gurus..
Need a little help.
Trying to find a replacement remote for a customer.
I looked at the back side of his unit and it is an Astrostart but has the model number of BOA.
I did a search for 'BOA' on Astro's website and it came up with the RSS-2504A. \
Is this correct?
Can I order a 2504-TX remote for him?

Thank you Much!

yes that is the right model for that car starter its a black oval remote with four silver buttons

to program it open the hood make sure the hood pin is grounding properly

then go into the car turn the ignition on and press the brakes turn the ignition of and on three times

the park lights will flash twice then press any button the the remote fob the park lights will flash once that it has accepted it

press the brakes to confirm and exit programming and tada it should work

or if you can get to the brain flip dip switch 8 to the on position press the brakes then press any button on the remote press the brakes again and it should work

either way will do the same thing

Programming the replacement transmitter can be done A LOT easier.

Find the brain, put dip#8 up, hit the brake pedal, push the unlock button on the NEW and OLD transmitter, put the #8 dip

down, hit the brake............done!

Great!
So it is the same as the 2504 or the 2524.
Can I program either the one way or the two way remote to this starter?
Thanks,
Brent
