I am using an ADS-AL-CA with and autopage rs-900 lcd and cannot seem to get the tach signal over rs232 or thru the tach output wire on the ADS-AL-CA. any ideas, also having trouble with starter wire and i can't seem to find the glow plug wire. but aside from all that everything else works.

If you are connecting the two together thru the DBI link that is your problem. I have done dozens of them and the tach signal never seems to work on GM products. To cure this, i hard wire the RS to the Idatalink and it works every time....

you CANNOT use the glow plug wire on this vehicle even if you were able to find it. it  is done through data. if you must use it rather than through the module programing, use a DEI 528T for the wait to start.

What are you asking? What issue do you have with the starter wire?
