OK so my wonderful girlfriend was being sweet and doing my laundry.  Well she didn't check my pockets and washed my alarm remote.  It wasn;t getting anything from the car till I programmed it.  Well now everything but the arm button works.  Is there a way to program the Aux button to arm the alarm?  Or another button to arm the alarm?  Any other ideas?  What do these need to make them work again?  I know there are guys the reman them.  I know it's a long shot but I'm pretty good with circuit boards.  Any chance someone can walk me through getting her working again?

Are there actual switches soldered to the circuit board? Or is there a rubber membrane with a carbon patch on the underside that makes contact with the 2 contacts on the circuit board?

Did you take the remote apart and dry the circuit board using a hair dryer yet?

So I have a viper 5900 and my girl has the python version. Except hers isn't the one mile.   I know my remote will work on multiple cars. But will it work with her python even though it's not the one mile?

Basically I want to be able to press the button on the back and use it for her car then hit the button again and use it for my car.

basiclly yes, the 1-mile and the python are 2 different alarms.. if she had the 1-mile version then yes it would work...
