I've found such a great wealth of information here, I thought I post this question as well.

I'm planning to add a permanent inverter to my Tahoe, mostly just for running a few laptops.  I'd like to hear suggestions as to your preferred brand and models.  I doubt I'll add anything more than about 400 Watts unless someone posts a good reason as I'll probably want it to physically fit under the driver or passenger seat, behind the seat motor but not stick out into the rear passenger's foot area.

Thank you for the link.  Cobra was one of the brands I was leaning toward as I seem to see them sold in most truck stops.
