ok i searched through the forum but couldn't find my exact problem installed a audiovox 40cs (customer already owned new in box) and used an XK01 for the door/bypass interface. The doors will lock and unlock but i cannot get it to remote start at all.
Press the remote start buttons, ignition comes on (only brake light and seatbelt light on dash appear, all wires test perfect,) then nothing.
I expect that if the doors are working then the xk01 is programmed correctly, i had local alarm place flash it before taking it home also. Rechecked all the wiring 3-4 times its got me stumped. Now its nighttime i cant try it but connecting up the 2nd acc. wire will that help? i thought it was only for 2006 models.
Help would be appreciated i have to get this out the door early tomorrow morning.

You do have both igntions connected, right? You say the dash lights are not coming on when it tries, so it must be lacking power on one of the ignitions. As for the 2nd acc, done tons without and no problems...

yeah i checked both ignitions have power when its trying to start, it has started 3 times on remote start thats it everytime the xk01 led status light is solid then it will start but next time it goes to try the led status doesn't come on.
