I will be installing this setup into an 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee and have a few questions about the remote starter connections. I think I have it figured out, but if anyone has experience with this please let me know if you see something wrong.

Have done the same setup on JGC SRT8 06/
Wiring at https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~90188 is basically correct

You have to supply +12 and ground for XK mudule and make W2W connection to Viper
I've done D2D and have some problems with it (look at a few threads initiated by me)

I got everything connected as I listed above, but the remote starter is not starting. I can start it fine with the key and I am not getting any lights or problems. When I try starting with the remote starter, it will turn on, but not crank. I am not getting any voltage increase on the violet starter output. Its as if the remote start isn't trying to start. Any one have any ideas?? Thanks

I figured it out right after I made this post. Everything was right, i was just missing the RED / black wire.

I PM'ed you back.

Do you have a link to the Viper 5701 install manual??

Do you have your MUX and data connections soldered??  this is a must!!!

Any issues programming sentry key to the bypass ??

Does this bypass output the correct resistance values for Accessory and Starter #2 across the MUX without having to add resistors to the wire yourself ???
