Ok i have an audio vox prestige remote start that i just installed into an 05 honda civic lx.  Im using a dei 791 bypass module.  But the vechicle wont remote start. I have a feeling its the bypass module. I have the red hooked up to constant power.....The orange hooked up ground and the blue wire im not sure where to hook it.  Is there a bypass module that i dont need a key to use?  Or can someone giive me a clue where the blue wire goes?  Thanks David

connect the blue wire to the status output. sometimes its also called ground when running, or you can use a negative low current ignition output.

Ok.....got the blue wire hooked up to the grounding wire of remote start.....Still doesnt work so i started double checking everything.  My tach signal at the tach test plug is very weak. I dont think the remote start is picking up the signal. What wire do i tie into at the pcm for the tach?

drop the fuse box down, at the top right is a green plug with 13 pins. there is a blue in the corner. It's a 4cyl. tach rerading.

Your car IS an automatic isn't it?

Hey i am adding a audiovox remote start module to a audiovox pursuit alarm.

I need to know what color wire the audiovox pursuit alarm has for ground when running or status?

audiovox on some models have the wiring engraved on the back. if anything most common is blue for ground when running.
