my alarm says if i program it then when i turn the key to ignition the doors will lock, and when i remove the key they will unlock.  I programmed it, however the door do not lock when i turn the ignition, the doors do unlock when i remove the key.  If you have any idea on what is going on can you please help.

do you have the right door wire hooked up? its a neg door trigger. the wire is yellow. most alarm wont lock the doors if the domelight is on. try it with the doors closed and then turn the key on slow to see what happens.

i got a doorlock converter to convert the locks from neg to pos.

everything works fine the locks open and close fine except for locking with ignition

did you double check the programing?is there a delay on your domelight??if so, sit inside the car and wait til the lights goes out and then try turning the key and see what happens.

i didnt connect the domelight to the alarm unit, and i programmed the thing the way it said
