Hey my 2001 Tacoma has a Compustar alarm on it (no remote start) After I alarm it about 5-10 mins later it always goes off for no reason. I read a few threads saying that door triggers/dome lights sometimes pulse and trigger the alarm. But once I hit unlock on the remote and then lock it again it never goes off anymore, just the one time after I initially park it and lock it. Does anyone know what else it might be? Thanks

I am not familiar with Compustar products, but they are known to be high quality units. As such it should have some way of reporting the last system trigger. What does the system report is causing the alarm to go off?

First, find out which zone of the alarm is falsing.

I'm not familiar with Compustar, but most alarms have some way of counting the LED flashes to see if the violation occured at the door trigger, trunk, hood, or shock sensor.

After that, you can do a little more troubleshooting.

Also, have you accidentally left on a map light or vanity mirror light? That'll do it sometimes.
