i picked up some relays from orielys and the center post says 87 not 87a i hooked it up for a five wire and it just pops fuses.  I think it is the wrong relay.  so is the center post that says 87 the same as the other 87.  and is there another way I can still use these

Nope, gotta pick up the proper relays with the 87a terminal.

any ideas besides internet that i can get these autozone does not and radioshack does not

Autozone: ridiculously expensive relay

RadioShack (Online Only): Automotive Relay

CircuitCity: comes with socket and seems cheap for retail sales also can check local store availability.

There are also a ton of places online to get relays. Partsexpress.com is a reliable source.
