Try this www.asianwolf.com they sell alarms and have almost every different brand. You can read all the specs on the site this is just a suggestion. This is just one thing I went through I wanted a alarm/pager that had a long range distance over 2500ft  and I couldn't find one almost anywhere else I looked. I found this site and they  had a fm 2009 alarm/pager that will go up to a mile on range and at a good price.

First, you cant get anywhere near a mile with those, and second they suck. Actually the transmitters are what suck. Bad transmitters are the only problems I have had with those because I have never had a long enough experience with one to see how many other problems would arise with them because I pulled them out of every car I installed them in after a month. I only installed a few of them needless to say before I moved on. I have heard that the range drops drastically after some time. They did have great range though, but certainly not a mile, and I am guessing not much over a 1/2 mile if that.

Thats just my 2 cents though.

You should do a search on this topic since this is not the first time it has been asked. Search for "Best FM" or "Best Pager Alarm" or something like that.

I agree with Jrilla on that one. Those are the generic 2 way systems that are sold under 10 other companies that claim different range distances for the same unit. If you want one that tell the truth about range, make sure that they have the FCC approval for the range specified.

I had a unit from Asianwolf.com and the alarm was terrible. I removed it less than a year later. It was the 2009 with 1 mile range. The remote was suppose to be a two way remote but it rarely worked as a two way. The range on it was almost exactly what my Crimestopper that I have now is... about 1/4 mile. The remote's lcd display worked for about 3 months. The range kept getting shorter and shorter until I had to be within a few feet of the car to start it.

I ripped it out a month ago. It was poor quality and the specs were grossly exagerated.
The unit actually comes in a box with the brand name Hummer. If you buy one you will be sorry, they are terrible.

I've only had it for about a month, but it works great, was easy to install and the two way remote works every time.

The range is exactly what they claim; 1/4 mile. I am very happy with it.

Any other place to get it?

Since I am Canadian my options are limited. Canadian prices are very high and many American stores will not ship to Canada or have extremely high shipping prices.

So eBay was the only option for me. The best price locally for the Crimestopper unit was over $550 CDN ($350 USD).

I also want to add that Asianwolf.com was a very friendly place to deal with, they shipped quickly and were helpful with wiring diagrams. The only problem was the alarm/starter was poor quality.

those alarms suck toooo. the best two way remote pager system is the 790xv from dei or the other compies of the same alarm from dei./ next in line is the two way remotes sytem from audiovox. both are ontime systems meaning if you press unlock on the two way remote and the remote has beep capabilities then the remote will beep at around the same time within miliseconds of the car. no matter how far away. plus with some of those cheap systems if lets say the alarm goes off you have to wait for the alarm to send a page to transmitter before you can silence the alarm . you dont have to do that with the stuff worth buying and installing.
