Hi,

I am installing a remote start on a Honda 88. I got some help earlier, thanks. The car still has a problem: It shuts off after 2 seconds. I want to get some help if the relay i connected is correct:

87 - no use

87a- ignition coil key sided

30 - ignition coil opposite side (engine)

85- Accessories wire

86- alarm orange wire ( starter kill output I think).

Does this even looks right? Thats what the diagram says to do, but its weird it didn't say to cut the starter wire, but instead, the ignition coil.

Also, another question is that, where do I connect the ON 1 (inigition coil) to which side ? The engine or the key side of the ignition coil once I cut it and use a relay? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million.

What you have there is an ignition kill. 85 should probably be ign key side. You should be able to do a starter kill with the same setup. As far as the remote start is concerned every connection should be on the engine side of relays.
