Guys i have a dealer that tells me he found a guy that does these without soldering wires into the Immobilzer module at the keyswitch. The only way i have seen is the way Idatalink shows, is there an easier way or is this guy BSing me?

I've only seen the method that idata does with the add-on piece. Like the new Caravans for example.

They have a piece that's a little circuit board, that sandwiches on top of the existing board inside the ignition switchk and screws in place.

In the beginning, their product was only available for use with a data-to-data cable, but they've said that it's now available in a hardwire model, so you could use it with any brand of remote starter.

It does cost more than just a universal bypass box an an aftermarket Chrysler key, but it does look like an interesting product.
