I installed a K-9 Classic in a 1999 Corolla LE.

Works great, range is fantastic (antenna wire is 9+ feet), all is well...except one thing: With the unlock / illuminated entry the inside buzzer (tone sound) stays "on" for the 30-seconds that the parking lights / domelight stay on.

Is there a way to make that buzzer sound not come on at all ?  ( That sound is the one you'd hear if you left your lights on when exiting the vehicle ).

Thanks!

When exactly does the buzzer turn on? ARe the doors open when it sounds or doesn't it matter. A little more detail would help.

The buzzer (kind of a tone sound) turns on during the 30 seconds the illuminated entry is active and the doors are open.  If the doors remain open past the 30 seconds, the buzzer turns off and the light stays on just as normal.

This may be normal during the 30 seconds, but is pretty darn annoying. I'm hoping to have it just be silent as if there weren't a 30 second timer at all!

Thanks!

It's more then likely cause the parking lights are on. You can find the buzzer and disco it.
