sorry what are the rules, the car is toyota supra twin turbo 1998, what is boot switching?, the orange wire trigger is it a neg or pos switching. the alarm is connected to boot switch with a BROWN / black wire, what i am going to do is fit a solenoid to open boot lock using remote. sorry for any rules broken i am new to this forum, regards chris

The reason I'm being a bit sarcastic with you is called RTFM. You've got the manual where it tells you orange is a NEG armed out and RED / white t a neg to control a relay to power your trunk release solenoid. In other words read the install guide!!

I am sorry that we seem to got of on the wrong foot. I take that RTFM meens "read the f'***ing manual" I have not got the install guide for alarm which shows me which wires go where. I only know that BROWN / black is boot sense wire as i was fitting extra LED lighting to the boot last week and could see the connection . what I have got is the install guide for the intellistart as I stated in my first post, correct me if i a wrong orange = window trigger neg o/p. RED / white = neg o/p for relay to boot soleniod. would it be possible to get all the wiring details from you for this alarm, regards chris and happy christmas

Actually I should apologise, I've been having a bad week! You are right about the colours, can't give you all the conections but if you ask I will tell you, I've realised you are a person of taste frerom your car, N.B. if your mirrors fold, you can use the pink/black aux output set to 3 secs and 1 relay to fold your mirrors.

apology accepted. you said that i am a person of taste, i take it that you also have a supra, if not you have a good knowledge of cars knowing about the folding mirrors, and yes my mirrors do fold, sounds like a great idea, i will doing that to my car. how do i set pink/black aux o/p to 3 seconds. going back to the remote boot unlocking is the RED / white neg o/p pulsed or continuous. if its continuous i have a simply way of changing it to pulsed, as i dable in electonics, so if there is anything that i can help you with please ask. i also have a full wiring diagram in pdf format for the supra if you need it. keep up the good work, regards chris.

No but I owned one in a previous life! RED / white is already pulsed neg, no need to change. You need to find installer programming for the 950 or send me your email address, you can make acc 3 work as a timed output, find the mirror feed wire at the switch that goes from neg to pos when you fold the mirror, then term 30 to mirrors, term 87a back to switch, terminals 87 and 86 to 12v+@ 5amps fused and 85 to aux 3.

thanks very much for info, i dont know if its the same as the installer programming i have the cliffnet wizard, i have never connected to alarm just installed the software. i had a quick look at software but there is no mention of setting any of the acc o/p's to timed, could you also tell me what acc o/p wire colours are for acc channel A B and C, i know 2 of the wires are RED / white and pink/black, (information from yourself) but what channel are they on, i will send you a personal message of my email address. i bet your car has quite few gadgets and gizzmos on it knowing what you know, thanks once again chris.
