ive using the ungo pro security s100 alarm in a 2009 jeep patriot .  I ve located the single wire lock/ unlock, lock works just fine but does not unlock with the aftermarket alarm.  Went to see if factory keyless work and it does, just not with the aftermarket alarm.  I know that resistors have to be used so going off the 2008 jeep patriot info used a 330 to lock and 100 ohm to unlock, and put a diode to diode isolate them having the bar side face the alarm output.  Does anyone know if they still used the same values or did they change them?

The correct wire is Lt GREEN/ Dk. Green in the driver's kick panel. Your resistance values are correct  according to 2008 schematics. What I would consider doing is to use 2 relays to strenghten your output to your target wire (eliminating the need for the diodes). Believe it or not, that small little 1A diode is changing the resistance of your unlock signal. Another quick trick is to remove the 100ohm resistor in total and just use a straight negative unlock pulse thru the diode.  If that does not work, use a 1000 ohm potentiometer to test the right lock and unlock values. Simply ground one side of the potentiometer and connect the other side to your target wire. Turn the pot until it locks. At that point, disconnect the pot from ground and the target wire and read its true resistance value with your DMM. Repeat the process for unlock and you should be in business! Hope this helps.

I agree, you might need to relay the wires to give a solid pulse...

Had to bring this thread back to the top. I am having the same problem. Even tried a relay with no luck. Any new info on this?
Thanks

how are you testing the wires on the car?

are you wiring the relay like this?
85 - lock or unlock
86 - constant 12v
87 - high current ground (chassis)
30 - to lock or unlock wire with resistor inline.

you an also find resistance by cutting the wire in half, set dmm to ohms, probe switch side of wire, hold lock or unlock and get resistance reading.

Just an FYI for future installs. Even though the lock works once you wire up a relay to the unlock you must wire one up for lock. This may be common knowledge among the pros but not this guy. :-) Thanks for the help
