I recently hooked up an autopage rs-650 plus.  Remote start and alarm work well but the keyless entry does not.  I have a 2000 contour with positive door switching locks.  When I hook up the lock wire from the system the doors stay locked.  The wire tests +12V constant is it supposed to be like this or do I have a defective unit?  If so I was thinking of using the second channel (trunk release) to lock the doors will this work?

Thank You

Yes those are the wires I am using.  It says hook the blue wire to the lock wire and the green to the unlock wire so I have the green wire hooked up to the YELLOW /GREEN wire and the blue to the WHITE/ green in the driver kick panel.

when you read this post, look to the left and you will see a listing for "General info"
click on diagrams and go to 3 wire positive door locks

wire them up like that and that should do it for you.
