I have a GMC truck that the dealer added the factory remote start. It is ok but I would really like to have 2 way capabilities ( able to see if the doors are locked, if it is running). What are my options? I found something on a website about datastart but cannot find a local dealer. Any ideas?

Go your dealer and get a two way upgrade. Extends the range and adds other toys that are cute but useless. Kinda like a girlfriend I had back in the day.

Still does nothing about the ten minute run time and still only allows two starts before cycling of the key is required.
