I think I may have ordered the wrong bypass kit for a 03 Neon that I am installing a Viper 5701 and power locks in. I ordered an XK03 thinking it was like the other XKs that I have installed (XK01, XK06, ect), but it looks like it just does locks/alarm/whatnot, which is useless since the car has none of that. It does say "starter enable", does that mean that it does serve as a immobilizer bypass? I would have just used a 556 and called it a day but there is only one key for the car. I just want something that I can program with 1 key if possible. Thanks!

XK01, 02, 03 are pretty much only used for locks/alarm(XK01 will bypass Passlock II/Passkey III on some GMs, but that's it).

Unfortunately you're out of luck as far as a bypass for Chryslers which only requires one key; I've looked many places and have yet to see any company which makes one (everyone just has RF bypasses which program to the car as though they were an extra key).

Technically a 555C or PKU-CH could be programmed to the car using a DRB-III scan tool without purchasing a 2nd key - but if you're already paying for the service time it's worth the extra $20 to have the 2nd key made.

Not sure if you've gotten a price quoted yet on a key; most of my local dealers have quoted me in the range of $70-$75 for a new Sentry Key and programming.

That makes a lot of sense now. I guess i'll just have to get a 2nd key for it. Thanks for the info!
