I installed a remote start a while back for a friend. Worked fine for about 6 mos, now, out of nowhere, the car won't start, and the doors won't lock/unlock. It does seem to think about starting though, because it seems that the accessory and ignition gets energized. I'm out of state, and won't be able to look at the car, but I was wondering if anyone knew if this could be a blown fuse? The unit is an Avital 3100. I'm hoping I can tell him that's all it is but I don't want him tearing into anything if that's not a possibility.

Thanks, Dan
