im tryin 2 hook up the HT-800d alarm in a 1998 toyota 4runner... and i dont know how 2 hook up the 2nd ignition wire but i kno i need 2 use a relay but dont kno how to run the wires for the relay and from the relay to the alarm

It's fairly simple. What you are trying to do is feed power to the 2nd ignition line. Hook up the relay as follows.
30 - to 2nd ignition
85 - to ignition aux. output from remote start (-) or status (-)
86 - to 12 volt
87 - to 12 volt
Be sure to use heavier gauge wire for 30 & 87 as this will be a higher current circuit.

thanks i appreicate at that...that really help...i haven't hooked it up yet...but do any of them have 2 b ground...i thought that number 86 was a ground

85 from the remote start sends the ground to the coil to trigger the relay.

ok so the wire from the remote start is serving as a ground...

the door locks but  i cant get the remote start to work....
