Anyone use one of these new PKFM modules? It is the new and improved XK04 so it says. It worked fine, but the LED on it did not act as the install manual suggested it would. It saus the LED will flash and then come on solid for 3 seconds and then it is programmed. It actually says if the LED stays on solid (or flashes) to switch the TX and RX wires. The LED came on solid for me but it works. I tried switching the TX and RX wires just to be sure, and the unit would not program like that so I switched it back and everything works fine. I just hate it when those manuals are wrong, I always wonder if I will be seeing that vehicle again soon.

Let me know if anyone has had a similar experience. Thanks guys

Have had a similar issue with them and a few other wierd things but ta the end it works just fine I do have to admit the program acts kind of funny sometimes it would turn on right after programing the module sometimes it just cracks but at the second try it works just fine

So if this mod. Replaces the xk04, do you still flash it with the xkloader?
