Has anyone installed one of these and had any complaints about a false confirmation of the remote start feature? I have installed several but my brother who lives out of state called me and told me that it will tell him the car remote started but then he goes out to it and it is not running. I cannot duplicate this myself since I am not near the car, but I would think if the car got the signal it should start so I am thinking he is full of it.

I personally don't like that r/s even though I sell and install them. They just don't program like the other Astro's. The design of the brain make it hard to do a neat job. I guess the price is right but I would rather use a 2524 or 5224. I have never had a complaint about a false confirmation.
