OK I feel like an idiot. The truck does not have a OEM security so I'm using the WHITE/ green for locks through a 315 and 620 ohm resistors. When I ground lock wires with resosrtor installed locks work fine. Now that I hook the RS to the locks and press lock and unlock with remote the doors lock with both signals. So I conntected a relay thinking ground was not good enought and now they only unlock. WHAT AM I MISSING????? I'm connecting a Crimestopper2016 that uses a neg for the lcok wires. This is not my first rodeo. Figured I will add that. posted_image

315 is ok but the other one wont work. 620 ohm? lock is supposed to go through an 820 ohm resistor. that could be the problem.

the remote start may not have enough of a ground to provide what is needed. I install DEI systems and most of them come with a 451m relay pack. its 2 relays in one housing that makes the negative locks from the starter trigger relays that provide a direct pulse to ground.

*EDIT*

I reread the post and I have no idea why when you use a relay they only unlock. all I can think of maybe you have the wrong resistors???
