Ive only done a few remote starts at my shop but i always had a very experienced guy helping me and showing me the ropes....we got shut down and now im a little lost. i have the module in and set it for keyless but only 1 trigger so the lock/unlock button works all of the doors.
any idea how to isolate the drivers door for the first press and the rest on the 2nd.
also need to know how to hook up the horn and lights for the lock/unlock
and i dont know if i need another module besides the 651r for remote start

ohh yeah, i have a Valet 561r if that helps

thanks for the help guys

The 561R does not have either a horn output or a 2nd unlock output. If you really want a horn output you could use the factory disarm/rearm pulses with a timer, but it's probably more work than it's worth.

For parking light flash that should be a direct connection. I believe the wire would be brown in the passenger's kick panel.

For remote start you'll need a 555L/556L/GMBP/PLJX or other Passlock bypass module.

That white wire in the H1 harness is the parking light output. I'm not sure where you're getting info otherwise.

Yes you would - that white wire from the 561R goes to a brown wire in the passenger kick panel for (+) parking lights.
